We went to Eloy, Arizona on a mission — to learn, to support, and to connect.
What we walked away with was all of that… and so much more.
We gained laughter that felt like medicine, history being made in real time, genuine love, and friendships that will last a lifetime. We witnessed teamwork, encouragement, focus, and flexibility — the kind that forms only when people choose to rise to something bigger than themselves.

Skydiving always carries some fear or anxiety. From gear prep to debriefing, there’s an awareness that things could go wrong. Yet the desire to achieve something together is stronger. These women breathe through the nerves and say:
“We trust each other. We’ve got this.”
Under the guidance of Eliana Rodriguez, Michelle Karamon, Brenn Richards, and Kate Cooper-Jenson, 66 women and 3 photographers were pushed, sharpened, and centered. The coaching went far beyond body position or timing — it taught awareness, trust, and the art of finding calm amidst uncertainty.

Breathe.
And then fly.
Many carried more than helmets and rigs — they carried sciatica, neuropathy, tension, migraines, surgeries, even cancer. Real pain. Real challenges. And still, they showed up and soared.
Because success isn’t just the record. If everyone goes home safely, learns something new, grows in confidence, and gains a few new friends, the event is already a win.

As the legendary skydiving photographer Mike McGowan says:
“People are always more important than things or accomplishments, always.”
And this weekend proved that.

A Thank-You to Our Sky Family
To this incredible group of women and their families — thank you.
Thank you for welcoming us, for sharing your stories, your courage, your humor, and your hearts. Thank you for adopting us into your sky family and allowing us to witness something so powerful, up close.
Being included in this community is a gift we won’t forget.
What happened in Eloy was more than a record attempt.
It was a reminder that even in the midst of pain, discomfort, and uncertainty…big, beautiful things can still happen.
